Venue: Awel Y Mor Porthcawl

Students will be taught a song and dance by Sam Holden, currently touring in the cast of Matilda. There will also be time for him to answer any questions they may have!

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to be offering this Matilda the Musical workshop for the school this year! As you know, we love giving our students opportunities to be inspired by live performance, and this workshop is a fantastic way to do just that — through movement, music, and storytelling.

Inspired by the high-energy choreography and playful spirit of Matilda the Musical, this workshop will give students the chance to explore dance in a fun, creative, and confidence-boosting way. Whether they already love Matilda or just enjoy dancing and performing, this session is all about having fun, getting stuck in, and experiencing a little bit of West End magic in the studio.

Spaces are limited, and a huge amount of organising has gone on behind the scenes to make this workshop possible.
